Rapid climate change, lack of fresh drinking water, ever-decreasing biodiversity, diminishing oil reserves and a growing population present daunting challenges to humankind. Soldiers of Peace, narrated by Michael Douglass, closely examines the different ways in which governments and individuals can deal with these challenges peacefully, rather than through armed conflict.
In this inspiring excerpt, one of several profiles in the feature film, a courageous Kenyan woman, Fatuma Abdulkadir, uses a unique strategy to challenge the violence that is devastating her society.
